What is Priligy?
Priligy, with the active ingredient dapoxetine, is a medication marketed by Menarini for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men, 18 to 64 years old. Priligy will help men that ejaculate too soon or have little control over ejaculation. Dapoxetine belongs to a group of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) which guarantee a higher level of serotonin. Dapoxetine, in Priligy, will increase your control over ejaculation, making you and your partner sexually satisfied.

What is Priligy?
Priligy is a prescription medication, used in the treatment of premature ejaculation in men.
How Effective Is Priligy?
Priligy works in around 8 out of 10 men (80%). Generally, the time taken to ejaculate should double or triple. It should be noted however, that this is not a cure for the condition. It will only work when you take it, and any underlying causes of PE should be addressed.
Who is Priligy suitable for?
Priligy is not suitable for all men diagnosed with premature ejaculation. For example, it is not recommended with some heart, kidney and liver problems. It can also interact with other medications, such as other antidepressants, so it is important you tell us all other medication you are taking.
What are the side effects of Priligy?
The most common side effects are nausea, dizziness, headache, fainting, diarrhoea. If you feel dizzy or faint after taking these tablets, you should not drive, operate heavy machinery or undertake hazardous activities.
How does Priligy work?
Priligy works by changing the levels of the chemical serotonin in the brain. Serotonin levels increase, which helps delay ejaculation.
What is the ingredient in Priligy?
Priligy contains the active ingredient Dapoxetine.
What is the dosage of Priligy?
The starting dose is 30mg, however, if no effects (desired or side effects ) are noticed, an increase in dosage to 60mg can be tried. A maximum of ONE dose should be taken in a 24 hour period.
When should I take Priligy?
Priligy should be taken around 1-3 hours before sexual intercourse.
Can I take Priligy and Cialis together?
While taking these medications together is possible, we do not prescribe these medications concurrently. Both medications can result in a lower blood pressure, so when taken together, effects of dizziness are increased, and possible fainting can occur. I have premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction, should I take Priligy?
If you have both premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction symptoms, it is recommended that you initially attempt an erectile dysfunction medication. Sometimes premature ejaculation will resolve, once erectile problems are dealt with since it can often be a result of ‘nerves’.
Do you need a prescription for Priligy?
Yes, but through our online doctor service, we can issue one directly to our pharmacy. Priligy is a prescription only medication in the UK, so you will either need a valid script to send us or complete an assessment to see if we can prescribe you Priligy.
